Villa Spotlight: Snow Canyon Sunshine (#76), Room for Your Whole Crew
Some villas are named after a view. Arcadia #76, "Snow Canyon Sunshine," is named after a whole state park, and it's just about a 10-minute drive away. If you're planning a fall or winter trip with a big group, this poolside villa is one of the roomiest ways to do it, with Snow Canyon's trails right down the road.
Room for up to 22
Snow Canyon Sunshine has five bedrooms, and every one has its own en suite bathroom, plus two half baths. That's 3,898 square feet with sleeping for up to 22: three king bedrooms, a room with two queens, and a bunk room with three full-over-queen bunks that the kids (and a few grown-ups) will fight over. Two spacious living rooms mean the early risers and the night owls don't have to share.
Made for group meals and game nights
Feeding a crowd is easier with two dishwashers and a second fridge for all the extra groceries. When dinner's done, head upstairs for the pool table, or take on the 150+ game arcade and a stack of board and card games. There's even a desk in the primary bedroom if someone needs to check in with work.
Your own patio, hot tub, and fire pit
Cool desert evenings are the best part of a fall or winter stay. The villa's large covered patio has seating, a private fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and a private hot tub at patio level. It sits poolside next to the resort's lap pool, and you have access to all of Arcadia's resort amenities during your stay.
Bring the dog
This is one of our dog-friendly villas. Up to two dogs are welcome (50 lb combined weight limit, at least 1 year old), with a signed dog-friendly agreement and a deposit. Just let us know at booking. Bonus: dogs on a leash are allowed on Snow Canyon's trails too.
Snow Canyon, 10 minutes away
Snow Canyon State Park covers 7,400 acres of red Navajo sandstone and ancient lava flows, with more than 38 miles of hiking trails and the three-mile paved Whiptail Trail for walking and biking. The park is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Utah State Parks says spring and fall are the best seasons for spotting wildlife. For sunset photos, try the Snow Canyon Scenic Overlook off SR-18. Cooler months are a great time to explore, then come back for a soak in the hot tub.
